Recognizing the growing needs and desires of people, we moved beyond real estate to offer lifestyle experiences in the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
Our legacy dates back to 1994, and Roach Lifescapes has evolved and transformed over the years to become one of the most innovative and inspiring boutique real estate builders in Bangalore.

At the forefront of this vision is Mr. Austin Roach, a seasoned real estate builder who started his journey as a founding member of United Builders and then Ferns Builders & Developers. With over three decades of experience in the real estate industry, Mr. Roach has been one of the best Real Estate Builders In Bangalore for the evolution of the market and has remained steadfast in his commitment to put the ‘real’ in the ‘real estate’.
In 2010, Mr. Roach decided to take his vision to the next level and launched RBD Shelters as an independent Real Estate Builder In Bangalore. Over the years, RBD Shelters has become synonymous with quality and innovation in the Bengaluru real estate market.
Today, as Roach Lifescapes, the company has evolved into delivering lifestyle experiences with a personalized touch of hospitality in every aspect of the Real Estate Builder business. Our Journey
The Roach family has seen the city evolve and left an indelible mark on the real estate map of Bengaluru. As the city grew from being a small cosmopolitan hub into the burgeoning metropolis that it is today, Roach Lifescapes has contributed to its growth story in the last two and half decades – by bringing people, communities and businesses closer than ever.

1994
Mr. Austin Roach’s first foray into real estate was his venture ‘United Builders’ which later got christened, ‘Ferns Builders & Developers’. This was a partnership with two other partners and was the genesis of a trailblazing story that was to come.

1996
Ferns Builders & Developers, a registered partnership firm, began its journey as one of Bengaluru’s innovative township developer. Over the course of the next decade and into the new millennium, the group undertook development of several residential layouts, apartments and commercial spaces across the city.

2007
Marks Mr. Austin Roach’s foray into the Hospitality Sector - he was among the first builders to construct a 5-star Deluxe Hotel on the ORR, Bangalore with Park Plaza (Now Radisson Blu) and he continues his legacy of a perfect match between simplistic designs and luxury.

Almost to the end of the first decade of the knowledge century, Bangalore was bustling with new energy. The Ferns Icon Software Technology Park is a symbol of this new era of technological infrastructure, located on Outer Ring Road and comprising 6 floors of office space for the global enterprises from the world over.

RBD Shelters is born as Mr. Austin Roach becomes an independent developer with the objective of putting the ‘real’ back into realty. Over the last 5 years of the company’s existence, the company has succeeded in bringing hundreds of residents, strategically located community residential complexes that offer modern amenities and help them strike a perfect balance in life.
